After investigating it turns out the drain tube had become separated from the nipple on the drivers side sunroof drain.

What i did was bought some factory paint in a tube with clear coat on top of the cab with your roof moldings off take the paint and follow the line to the rain channel and take some black sealant inside and outside of the rivets. Factory sunroofs do have drain tubes that can get clogged causing leaks but they are easily cleaned out if you re aware of them. I know for a fact that nissan has covered this issue on some of the first gen titan s. Cutting a hole in the roof in my opinion has nothing to do with reducing structural integrity in a vehicle. All nissan did was glob on some black sealant it took them about 3 tries and then i had to fix it. Fit and finish is questionable at best and there are always issues with leaking.
