New Extension Roof Leaking

An extension completed less than 2 years ago now has a leak in the flat roof.

Owner came out and put some sealant on ridge vent. Water coming down the side of the old french door now doorway to house extension and trickling to the floor. Should we expect the building company to rectify this. The leak appears to be getting in behind the lead cover flashing where new roof joins against existing wall it is code 5 lead chased into wall 25mm.
